A program to detect blocks of contigous bad pixels

Abstract

The present report describes CLUSTER, a software tool to scan a file   containing bad pixel coordinates and detect when bad pixels happen   to form contiguous blocks.
   A file is then produced with start-end coordinates of each block. This   file can in turn be used as input by several image processing packages   (for example IRAF or MIDAS) to the purpose of bad pixels cleaning.
