Sun and Solar System
At INAF-Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory a group of researchers carries on activities ranging from the study of the planets and small bodies of the Solar System (asteroids and comets), to the investigation about the origin, evolution and distribution of life in the Universe (Astrobiology).
Methodologies include observations from the ground and space, theoretical investigations, exploration by means of interplanetary probes along with the support of important laboratory infrastructures.
