Large Scale Structure and environmental processes
The Large Scale Structure (LSS) of the Universe significantly affects the formation and evolution of galaxies. In particular, dense environments such as groups and clusters of galaxies are ideal laboratories to investigate the interactions of galaxies with their environment. The goal of our research is to reach a comprehensive picture of the baryon cycle, establishing a robust link between the gas phases and the star forming and super-massive Black Hole feeding processes, and ultimately constraining the corresponding energy budgets and timescales.
