Research in Arcetri
Scientific research at the INAF Osservatorio Astrofisico di Arcetri encompasses all the fields of the modern astrophysical research, including the study of our Solar System bodies, the more distant Galaxies, the interstellar medium and the high energy phenomena. Our researchers and technologists are involved in many research programs both national and international, often in leadership roles. Our research groups operate using a wide range of innovative methods, including theoretical and observational ones, using numerical simulations and developing new instrumentation, based on earth and for space.
